LG G Pad 8.3 Google Edition

Serial leaker evleaks yesterday tweeted about a device codenamed as LG V510 and said it is a nexus device. We were also inclined towards thinking it as a Nexus device, but it turned out to be a Google Edition of the LG G Pad 8.3. The device is up for sale in the US Playstore for $349.

LG has officially not made any announcement for the release of this device in other markets in the world. This tablet is the Google Edition variant of the G Pad 8.3, it promises to give pure Android experience.

The G Pad 8.3 Google Edition comes with an 8.3-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels with a pixel density of 273PPI. It comes with a 1.7GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 600 processor coupled with 2GB RAM. This tablet sports a 5MP rear shooter and a 1.3MP front-facing camera for video calling. The device runs the latest Android 4.4 kitkat and is supplied with a 4,600mAH battery.

Everyone loves the pure Android experience, Google’s Nexus series of products offer the same. With the availability of the same user experience on devices from other manufacturer it gives buyers some extra alternatives to choose a product from. Let us wait until an official announcement of the product availability in other market made to see if India gets to have the Google Edition of the G Pad.
