Jolla is a smartphone company based in Finland and is formed by a group of ex-Nokia engineers. The team worked on the Nokia’s Meego OS and has made an OS called Sailfish, Jolla smartphones run on Sailfish OS. This OS is likely to be compatible with major Android devices too.

Jolla smartphones come with Sailfish Operating System on board. The Sailfish OS is based on Nokia’s Meego OS and brings compatibility with as much as 85,000 Android Applications. This operating system is likely to be compatible with Android hardware too, meaning the OS can also be installed on Android Smartphones. Jolla smartphone come powered by a 1.4GHz Dual Core Snapdragon 400 processor.

This smartphone comes with a 4.5-inch multi touch capacitive display with QHD resolution of 540x960 pixels, which calculates to about 245 pixels per inch density. The device measures 131x68x9.9mm and weighs 141g. Jolla has also equipped this smartphone with Gyroscope, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer and Compass. It boasts a 2100mAH battery for power supply.

It comes with an 8MP rear camera featuring LED flash and Autofocus, the camera on this device comes with added features like Geo-tagging, touch focus and face detection. Jolla has also put a 2MP front-facing camera on this device to assist users with video calling.

On the memory unit, this device bags a 16 of storage capacity which can be further expanded to up to 64GB using micro SD card. The device boasts 1GB RAM to run applications and help multi task better and faster.
