Last year Samsung launched the Galaxy S
Duos which came with single core processor only. The company has made some
hardware and software upgrades and rolled down Galaxy
S Duos 2. The current model comes with the same display size and design as
its predecessor.
Galaxy S Duos 2 comes with a 4-inch capacitive
multi-touch display with a resolution of 480x800 pixels, the display features
16 million color support. This smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz Dual-Core
processor, older model came with 1GHz single core processor. The RAM and
Internal memory on this device stands at 768MB RAM and 4GB ROM, just like
Galaxy S Duos and can be expanded up to 64GB using micro SD card.
This smartphone has Dual SIM compatibility and accepts
GSM cards on both the slots. It comes with 3G feature to connect to high speed
data connection. On the camera front there are no changes, it bears a 5MP rear
camera and a VGA resolution front-facing camera for photography and video
calling respectively. The device brings the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS on
board, which means it gets all the latest Application compatibility. There are
other features on this device which include WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth and micro USB
port for PC connectivity and a 1,500mAH battery for power supply.
The device appeared on its official Bulgarian
website and with Dual SIM it is likely to get a global release.
