Nokia Lumia 525 officially unveiled


Nokia has officially unveiled the much rumored device Lumia525. The device has been rumored in the industry for a long time now. This is the successor model of the most popular Lumia 520 bringing some hardware upgrades on board. The device will be available in Africa, Asia Pacific and Middle East only.

The Lumia 525 runs Windows Phone 8 Operating System on a Dual-Core Snapdragon S4 chip. The device is supplemented with a 1GB RAM to give this device a nice boost in the performance. Nokia seemed in no mood to upgrade the camera on this device, and has supplied it with the same 5MP camera without flash, found of the Lumia 520. Although the company has done some tweaks in the memory section and has brought it up to 8GB on-board and supports memory expansion via micro SD card up to 64GB- huge upgrade indeed.


Just like any other Lumia series of phones, this one too comes with 7GB free cloud storage and Nokia smart cinemagraph lens. The camera on this device has features like Panorama, touch focus, Bing vision, auto and manual exposure along with geo-tagging. Nokia has put in a battery with 1430mAH delivering 336 hours of standby while allowing the users to have 17 hours of talk time on one charge. This smartphone is 3G enabled and comes with WiFi and other slower data connection support.
